Experience
I earned a bachelor's with honors in Cultural Anthropology from Washington University, and right now I am studying to receive my master's in the same field. I have been a tutor for the past six years, and I specialize in helping individuals prepare for standardized tests like the SAT. I have worked for companies that provide such test preparation services and also volunteered at nonprofit organizations. I also tutor in the subjects of Social Studies, History, and English, where I often find myself helping students compose essays for school work a well as college applications. The main thing that I try to impart to all of my students is that learning can be fun. I understand that each individual has their own way of learning, but if I come to each lesson with enthusiasm I believe I can get each student to enjoy the material in their own way. I do my best to tailor each of my sessions around that student's own learning style. In my free time I love to hike, cook, travel, make and listen to music, and play with my dog.
