EducationBrooklyn College of the City University of New York - BA, Psychology , New York Law School - JD, Law
ExperienceI attended Brooklyn College for both undergraduate and graduate school. I attended New York Law School for my law degree. I currently practice law and teach. My areas of expertise are Elementary and Middle School Math, Social Sciences, Political Science, Biology, Literature, English, Writing, and Algebra (Pre-Algebra-II). My favorite subjects to tutor are Math, Reading, and Logic. I'm also adept at working with students to prepare for standardized exams, including the LSAT (Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Essay), SAT (Writing, Critical Reading, Math), and the GMAT (Verbal). It's my belief that the process involved in coming to a solution is more important than the solution itself. Mastering the process toward a solution will get you further in life than depending on a process that lacks clarity and rationale. I also think it's important to be confident and mellow when learning and solving problems. Anxiety and worry make it more difficult to achieve success, and they often lead students to act in haste. I think educating requires a delicate balance of rigor and relaxation. Structure and order are indeed important, but so is flexibility. It's important to be prepared for what you can't plan for, hence the importance of flexibility. Outside of law and teaching, I like astronomy, books, sports, and music.
