Hello! While I am on the path towards settling into my career, I would love to help others do the same, no matter where they are on their journey. Mine took me from Rutgers University, where I initially went into biomedical engineering, to medical school. After completing two years of medical school (and deciding it wasn't for me), I am now going for a career in health information management. All these experiences provide me with a great background in a myriad of different subjects, which will hopefully prove to be an asset in tutoring. Through engineering, I have a good background in computer technology, and am proficient with Microsoft Office. I have a strong background in math and science as well, due to my experiences in the fields of engineering and medicine. My tutoring approach consists of highlighting a student's weaknesses or problem areas, and learning to build upon that. I like incorporating examples from real life to solidify concepts, and have seen that having an environment in which we freely converse, instead of a strict teacher-student relationship, is one that produces great results. I consider myself to be patient, and will strive to exhaust every option to reach the next checkpoint. I love the "light switch" moment: when a concept finally gets pieced together in someone's mind.
