As a tutor, my main goal is to leave my mark on the world, by that I mean I want to enhance the lives of as many people as possible. I have a strong background in mathematics, including honors courses AP calculus. In addition, I have in-depth knowledge in English. These are subjects that I enjoy tutoring. I can also help with study skills and homework. I have tutored at the local library for a group called Homework Helpers. My theory on tutoring is that it is a way to enhance the pupil's learning experience so they take away as much from school as they can. At only eight months old, my adoptive parents brought me home from China. I was motivated from a young age to challenge myself and do the best in my classes that I could. I have always pushed myself beyond my comfort zone. As a high school student, I took all AP courses and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I am keeping my educational endeavors going now by majoring in Urban Planning and Design and minoring in Psychology. I am looking forward to sharing my love of school with my future students.
